
San Antonio Firms Earn Spots On Aggie 100

Four San Antonio-area companies have been named to the Aggie 100, which honors the fastest-growing businesses owned or led by graduates of Texas A&M University.
The Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M announced this year’s winners on Friday. Companies are ranked by revenue growth. The Aggie 100 is in its seventh year.
Miner Central Texas Ltd. ranked fourth on the Aggie 100 list with a growth rate of 128.75 percent. Miner sells and services warehouse equipment. Chairman Phil Miner graduated from Texas A&M in 1980.
Internet Contrasts Co. in Helotes ranked 38th on the list with a growth rate of 34.29 percent. Internet Contrasts is an IT consulting firm. Brandon Zumwalt, the company’s president, owner and founder, graduated from the school in 1999.
Rackspace Hosting (NYSE: RAX) ranked 69th on the Aggie 100 with a growth rate of 21.14 percent. Rackspace is an IT hosting and cloud computing firm. Chairman Graham Weston graduated in 1986.
Intercontinental Consultants LLC ranked 97th on the list with a growth rate of 13.59 percent. The company is an investment firm that caters to high net worth individuals. CEO John Kauth graduated in 1977.
